ADVANCED ADVENTURES IN POLYFOAM PUPPET CONSTRUCTION

Join Grey Seal puppeteer Drew Allison as we explore polyfoam techniques to create puppets. Participants will build their own polyfoam puppet head using Grey Seal's "Three Piece Head" technique that is detailed in "The Foam Book, An Easy Guide to Building Polyfoam Puppets." Along with completing a Three Piece Head, participants will create a foam body, arms and hands and walk away with a completed hand and rod foam puppet.

- Time will also be devoted to manipulation, lip sync and voice characterization as the workthrough progresses.

SUPPLIES NEEDED: Glue Gun (not lo-melt!) and a sharp pair of scissors to cut foam with.

MATERIALS FEE: $35.00

Maximum number of participants: 10

Note: workshops are not open to the public. You must be registered for the entire festival to attend.
